Why Goodbots

Kinder robots can still do serious work.

We imagine robots that are unmistakably robots: warm, expressive, a little whimsical, and built to do humble, restorative work. A good helper should feel welcome in an orchard, a greenhouse, a garden, and someday a home.

That matters because growers face real, expensive, everyday problems a capable machine could help catch early: pests, disease, sick animals, and wasted trips across a field. Goodbots offers a hopeful alternative to cold humanoids and machines designed to intimidate.

Big visions die without a first real job. Ours starts in the field: working alongside Northwest Arkansas growers and producers to find one recurring, costly problem a small, friendly rover could genuinely help with. Then proving it, honestly, in the dirt.

What we learn on the farm is the same foundation a future home companion needs: durable mobility, useful hands, trustworthy behavior, and a personality people actually like having around.

The person behind it

Wes is the founder and product visionary behind Goodbots. He defines what these robots should mean in people's lives, how they should feel, the problems they should solve, and what they should never become. His job is to give exceptional engineering, design, safety, and agriculture talent a clear human-centered direction and build the organization that can make it real.

He is a Northwest Arkansas operator with a career built on customer experience, storytelling, and getting complicated things coordinated and done. Goodbots exists because he would rather build the future he wants his daughter to inherit than sit on the sidelines hoping someone else does.
